Leandro's Biography

Hi, I’m Leandro Rivas! My interest in photography really started with my mom, Ruth. Growing up, I’d always help her out by taking pictures whenever she or my brothers needed one. Over time, she started teaching me what she knew, giving me tips and advice on how to get better shots. That's when I really started to enjoy taking photos.

Back in March 2024, I went to a wedding where my mom was the photographer. I decided to snap a few pictures on my phone just for fun, and when I looked back at them, I thought, 'Hey, these actually turned out pretty nice!' That was my first real taste of capturing a special celebration for someone.

By the end of 2024, I ended up taking photos for another wedding—this time on my own! I was definitely a bit nervous when I started, but as the day went on, I got more comfortable and realized just how much I loved taking photos that people can hold onto and look back on.
